sex therapy

Many people encounter sexual problems at some point in their lives. Stress, tiredness, illness, family and work pressures, even a new baby can all contribute to sexual problems of one kind or another. Sometimes these problems don't go away even when the original cause has been resolved, and then consulting an expert can help.

All of our therapists are trained and experienced in psychosexual counselling and can offer guidance and support on a range of issues, including:

  • loss of desire
  • erectile dysfunction
  • premature ejaculation
  • pain on intercourse
  • recovering from an affair
  • difficulties forming or maintaining relationships
  • sex and ageing
  • sex and disabilities
  • sexual addiction
  • can't reach orgasm
  • problems with physical or emotional intimacy.

Online counselling allows you to work on your difficulties with expert support from psychosexual counsellor, at a time and place to suit you. Counselling 'sessions' are conducted online by exchanging e-mails or sharing an instant chat session with your counsellor. The advantage of this approach is that you can complete the work with your counsellor at your own pace and without having to attend the counsellor's office for face-to-face appointments.

Instead of talking through your problems with your counsellor, you write about them. This can be a useful way of working if you are very busy or have many other commitments that would make it difficult to meet with a counsellor in person. It can also be a suitable approach if you find it difficult to talk about your problems in person.

Counselling involves sharing your thoughts, fears and feelings with a trained counsellor who can help you to understand and resolve whatever is troubleing you, whether it comes from circumstances, other people, or yourself. It can assist you to make decisions or changes that enable you to lead your life more fully.

Please contact us if you would like to discuss how online counselling might help you. We do not charge for answers your questions before counselling begins.
